Green Meadows Intermediate School shares a commitment with family and community to develop life-long learners and responsible citizens. To this mission we commit all our resources.
Thank you for visiting our web site! I am excited to be a part of Green Meadows. We work hard to shape the upcoming citizens of our community. Be on the lookout for W.O.W. tickets. Staff members hand these out to students that are doing a good job. We follow up by either calling or sending home a note about the good news. Upon receiving their ticket, students get to write their name on our "Paws"itive Challenge Board in our cafeteria. This gives them a chance to participate in our Mystery Motivator. BRAG Breakfast
We have started a new program to go along with our WOW tickets (see Principal Message tab). We will recognize one student per day for exhibiting good character as defined in our pillars from Character Counts. At the end of each month we will invite each student to bring an adult with them to enjoy breakfast with us. If your child receives a card for this, we display that card in the cafeteria and send out invitations toward the end of the month.
Spelling Bee
January 12. Each classroom will have a winner that will participate in our school wide spelling be. Our school winner will go on to the regional contest in Lafayette.
